"We really enjoyed our lunch at Chateau Mygo! With an incredible backdrop of sailboats coming and going from Marigot Bay, the views are stunning! The menu has a wide variety of food, from seafood to rotis to pizza...something to please everyone! The chicken and fish rotis were delicious! Sunset from this restaurant and their bar is absolutely incredible!"

"Lovely local food and great cocktails from the Hurricane Hole bar on their dock. Overlooks the bay entrance. Seafood is delicious and portions generous."

"We almost didn't visit as the restaurant is hidden from the street but what a gem! Warmly welcomed (we were coming from a hotel and wanted to have local food), we were met by friendly staff, promptly ordered excellent cocktails and took time to peruse the daily hand-written menu. The appetisers were superb (try the shrimp tostada, it was devine); followed by the most beautiful entrées. We dined on fresh curried mussels and mahi-mahi in coconut sauce with a wonderful platter of sides. The food was delightful, and with a view of the bay, and live music provided by an enthusiastic local group, we were spoiled at this venue."

Here are some great reviews about our Chateau Mygo Villas From more satisfied customers !!!

"We rented the Sunrise Villa for a week and it was perfect for our stay. The location is ideal for exploring Marigot Bay, going south to Soufriere or north to Castries. The villa itself is very spacious and clean. The kitchen had all we needed to cook a few meals at home and was stocked with some bread, butter and eggs when we arrived. The deck had beautiful views, a relaxing hammock, and small bbq grill. We also enjoyed the communal pool area. The villa had wi-fi though it was a little spotty. There was no one staying in the main house while we were there so we felt that villa grounds were very quiet and private. Overall, really great value! Our host Frank was incredibly helpful in giving us recommendations for what to explore around the island. We ended up booking a sailing charter with a few others from Marigot Bay and from Soufriere. This was one of the highlights of our trip, highly recommended!"

"Absolutely beautiful, relaxing and peaceful! We had the pleasure of staying two weeks at Chateau Mygo in Marigot Bay and would highly recommend it. When we arrived we were greeted by both Frank and Doreen, two very gracious and helpful hosts. Our stay was in the Sunset Villa, which was very clean and spacious for just the two of us, with breathtaking views of Marigot Bay. Our villa had a large deck with hammock, dining table and gas BBQ. There is a lovely pool to enjoy and cool off from the heat of the day. It has plenty of patio space for sun tanning or just relax and read. With 3 smaller villas and the large house villa, this is a very quiet and private spot. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dinner at the Chateau Mygo House of Seafood and spent a few evenings enjoying the company of other travelers and/or sailors at the water front bar. Frank and Doreen were always around to see if there was anything we needed and made us feel a part of the Chateau Mygo family. We enjoyed great conversations with them both. Doreen, a wonderful cook, made a lovely traditional lunch for the guests of the villas and we enjoyed great company and lots of rum punch. Frank also offers catamaran trips for snorkeling tours and also has a sailboat for the same. Our group took advantage of the catamaran trip which was great fun. The captain and his crew were friendly hosts as well and made a delicious lunch. As many reviews state, the villas are atop the steep hill overlooking Marigot Bay, however we enjoyed the walk and did it daily. It is only 1 km to the bay, as well, there is a small local beach only 1 km away and we enjoyed spending some time there. We did explore the island with a rental vehicle and spent most of the time traveling south towards Soufrière as we prefer less crowded beaches and resort areas. All in all we had a fabulous time and would love to go back some day. It is highly recommended."

"I cannot say enough about our stay at Chateau Mygo. Our group stayed in the big villa, which was beautifully appointed, clean and had an amazing view of Marigot Bay and the Carribean Ocean. The veranda surrounding the house provided us with a relaxing outdoor space to eat, rest and watch the sailboats in the Bay. The salt water pool was private for the guests of the 4 villas at Chateau Mygo, and had a bar area, poolside bathroom and both sunny and shady spots to enjoy a book and cocktails. It was also a perfect spot to meet the guests of the other villas and enjoy happy hour. The best part for our group was the attentiveness shown by Doreen and Frank the owners. Doreen came to the villa to ensure everything was to our liking. She invited us to a barbecue at Chateau Mygo restaurant in the village where she shared a delicious meal of Mahi Mahi, breadfruit, rice, salads and barbecue chicken and she kept the rum punch flowing! Doreen is an amazing cook and a great hostess. We make it a goal to visit different locations when we travel but we all agreed we would love to come back to Marigot Bay for another stay with Doreen."

"We had a really enjoyable vacation in a very clean, well appointed hilltop villa, complete with a hammock in the patio to enjoy the picturesque views and birdsong, away from the crowds, just utterly relaxing. We rented a car from the airport and were so pleased that we did, some folks may enjoy walking down, not so sure they would enjoy the walk up the hill. There is a taxi stand at the bay, so you can arrange for taxis to take you up and down the hill. Water taxis and tours are also available at the bay as are restaurants, bars, coffee, massage, souvenir and clothing shops, including Chateau Mygo House of Seafood and Hurricane Hole, both owned by our wonderful landlords, Frank and Doreen, who were very friendly and our source of information for day trips, water tours and anything in between. We drove around the island and saw other places that we had considered for our vacation and found that nothing compares to this villa; many places looked attractive online but the remoteness, long drive from airports and distance from everything else was rather unappealing. I am so glad that we chose this villa, it's simply the best place for us in St. Lucia."
